First Day of Big Girl School!

Our day begin with mixed of emotions from Mama and Daddy however little sassy was soooo excited and little man was so sweet to his sissy. Mama and Daddy walk in the room and little man was already awake so we all three woke her up, brother was laying his head on hers saying big girl school day, of course daddy was snuggling to her and with both of the guys all on top of her all I got was her hand and a few sneak kisses...anyway all smiles when she awoke. The smile continued through her bath, getting dressed, to the car, to the school door, down the hallways and going through the big girls kindergarten class door. Her teach was just great this morning she meet us at the door took Maddie by her hand and sat her down and showed her her stuff was set up in her desk and placed her badged on her and then came back and we did a check off list to make sure we had everything. Her teacher took time to pose for a pic w/ Sissy. What a wonderful day her teacher had everything so organized...play doo out on the treys for them to play with while she went back over with the parents different items who is picking them, did they bring their lunch and snack etc (her teacher knew that she was going to have to deal w/ us crying parents). Anyway love bug kissed me bye and off to work I went heart broken but yet thankful. I am sad to see her growing up so fast but yet so thankful that I have a healthy little girl that I can watch grow up like they are suppose too with out any mental/physical issues unlike so many others....We are so blessed to have a daughter that is beautiful, smart (she can already read a little bit), sweet, and like I said earlier healthy. For little man God knew what we needed in live...he knew that we need something in life to make us step back and not take it soo seriously...he is just a character full of life, with a big heart (he has started saying his night night prayers, morning prayers and eating time prayers by himself), and HEALTHY. THANK YOU LORD FOR ALLOWING ME THESE TWO WONDERFUL BLESSING TO ENJOY! THANK YOU AGAIN FOR GIVING US ANGEL WHO TAUGHT US MANY LESSONS THAT HAVE TAKEN US SOO FAR. Anyway....I called Maddie after school and she said that she had lots of fun and her name didn't get out of the bee's jar (which means she didn't get into trouble), she had pizza for the first day of school, and went to her first p.e. class (which she corrected me and told me that it was gym class) and all the little girls loved her leopard print monogrammed nap pad. Daddy picked her from Meme's and he said she didn't stop talking (not uncommon for her) about her day. I was so excited to see her and really didn't get to sit down, love and talk to her because we had to shoot out to church and while Daddy was picking them up I found Gabby our female dog that was 8 dead in the back yard sooo I was awful when they arrived (crying)and I had to tell them the news while trying to keep it together so we could make it to church on time. Gabby was my favorite. She was the one that was there when everyone was gone or asleep that I turned to during the circumstances of Angel....I cried with her so many times (yes I know she is a dog)...I just felt that she understood that something was wrong and she would just sit there next too me and look at me and just gave me comfort....especially when I was alone some nights when Luke was at work, my friends asleep (because they where there for me every second that I needed them....wow I couldn't have gotten through this with out them) and of course I tried to let our parents mourn too so I tried to not lean on them too much because they were hurting doubly (for their kids and for their grand baby). So tonight after church we went and buried Gabby in Pa's vacant lot ....we couldn't move the dirt at our house and finally arrived home around 8:45 so it was bed time for the babies so we got them to bed, Daddy took the trash out, I finished the dishes and got bags and clothes ready for tomorrow. Now at 10:00 I am just in here on the computer typing some emotions away I hope that you all aren't depressed now. I am fixing to call it quites and say good night because morning will be here faster than I know it.

What a fun summer we have had so far! The Weekends have been absolutely wonderful being able to enjoy them with my family out having to work ...Here are a few pics. that I thought I would share w. you all. Sissy just being sissy, little man just got caught in the refg. in the 1st pic then in the next pic I went to answer the phone during doing my laundry and come back (Daddy is at home and knows I am on the phone) and I find this (DANGEROUS , but of course being the one I am I had to take a pic before getting him out), the next pic. is when my niece came while her brother was taken to the er for a fingure injury and they all played dress up and the last one is of Sissy at her 1st back to school party. Church has a back to school water party every year and she was soooo excited that she was finally at the age she could go. WHAT Fun we had....water baloons, water slides and water guns, just saying this items that were are entertainment makes me want to go back....we just had fun playing and eating pizza. The deacons will not be happy on Sunday b/c where the slides were there are huge mud puddles from where the kids where standing and then due to the mud they kept falling in it and being muddy from head to toe. we would have to hose them down before they could go back down the slides however the bottom of the slide the pool area was so yucky looking w/ all the dirt and mud but the kids didn't let that hinder them .

Fun at the Beach without Mama

How lucky they are having fun at the beach without their Mommy! Sucker All over little man's face, floating in the pool with Granddaddy and getting tan. They saw a (they think) a 3-4' tiger shark today approx. 5' from the shore line and it jumped up and ate a bleeding fish that he must have tried to get a little earlier....isn't that scary. Yeah for Daddy he is doing great this year in the pool floating (like he use too). Sweet thing lost her first tooth the day that I left to come home to go back to work and the tooth fairy came and visited her at the beach and she got $20. She has also learned to do a front flip in the water, and dive down to get pennies, along with swim in the deep end.

Maddie Graduates from K4!

Well it is official Maddie is going to big girl school next year! She is sooo excited. We have registered her and now are praying that she gets a great teacher! We had such a special and wonderful time at her graduation on Thursday. Ms. Tammy spoke her teacher and it was very touching. They sung a couple of songs that where cute and then received their diploma's.

Our fast trip to Atlanta!

What fun we had running over to Atlanta to enjoy some family time before I started my new job! We visited the World of Coke, the Atlanta Aquar., CNN Studios, went and celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Mindy, Randall, Caroline, Kristin, and Clayton as well as stopped off at the Atlanta Zoo on our way home. The Varsity was a must eat at too. If you haven't been to the World of Coke you need to visit it...you can taste every drink that is bottled by coke all over the world...my family have came to the conclusion that if it wasn't for classic Coke and the other coke products bottled here in N. America than we wouldn't be drinking Coke products. Our second stop was the Aquarium and WOW! I don't like Aquarium's I think they smell bad but hey this one was awesome....Maddie loved it however thought that a shark was going to eat her because we kept telling her that the only way the sharks would break through the glass was if he smelt blood (we told her this the whole way to Atlanta and before we left and when we got there) anyway right as we where fixing to enter in she feel and cut her knee to the point it was bleeding a little bit and we saw a guy that must have been feeding the fish right before he walked outside because he had on a dr.'s jacket with blood all over the side of it and Luke had just got out of his mouth "he must have gotten bit by one of the sharks look how bloody he is I bet he was bleeding and they smelt him" and then Maddie feel down, so needless to say she wasn't paniced about entering. She was crying and I had to carry her in because she was so scared, she ended up loving every minute of it and Alex, oh man, was just in awe..he kept running around and pointing at the fish and saying "Ish, Ish, Mama", I could have just ate him. Well then our next stop was CNN studio. Luke and I thought that we where sooooo smart and would go to the less kid friendly event while Alex was a sleep and thought the Maddie would be okay and think some parts where interesting so we walk over to CNN from the Aquarium and buy our tickets (non refundable) and the lady said get in line and start unloading the stroller this is a 8 story tour and you have to walk up and down all 8 stories of stairs so you can't take the stroller...I was so mad that they didn't tell us until After we had purchased the tickets. Well we wake up Alex and we go on, the tour was interesting to Luke and I put not so much to the babies we had to stay at the back of the tour and step out every once and a while with Al but over all it was okay and most of all my arms where killing me at the end because Alex wouldn't let his Daddy carry him because of him being still sleepy. Okay well then we went to Mindy's and had a great dinner and enjoyed them like always. Man oh Man Caroline's prom dress was gorgous, I got a steak pick of it. Then we went back to the suite and swam a little and got in the hot tub before bed then nighty night we went. Well morning came and up and out the door we went to the Zoo....we had so much fun especially Alex being outside and seeing all the animals which he thinks are all the big ones are "COW". Once we arrived home we went straight to the camper at camped the rest of the week...which we all enjoyed, getting dirty, ride bikes and cooking out.

Anyway here are some of the pictures from our funny weekend. I don't think my babies would know what to do if they had a free weekend. But we alway have fun and love being together.

ice cream and singing

We had a very busy day....Mae went to the oral surgeon today for her extra front tooth she has...we have to wait until she loses her front two upper teeth before they can do anything because of the roots....So that was a little releaf that we don't have to go through mouth surgery right now. Anyway we came home and Al and Mae were both about to drive me crazy saying outside Mama...Can we go outside...outside Mama...Can we go outside (about 150) times while I was unloading the grocery's. Anyway we picked the perfect time to enjoy the sunshine...the ice cream man came down the road just about the time we walked out the door, so we bought some ice cream and just got all messy and enjoyed life outside. We had to come back in after the ice cream fest to get cleaned up and once we got out of the tub, little man thought that he would put on an Elvis show for us and sing Jesus Loves Me. It was priceless. Next time you all see him maybe (more than likely he want) he will sing it for you...it is the cutest thing. All you can understand is Jesus Loves and the rest is just the tune. I Love it. He has to be all decked out with his (Mae's) microphone and guitar, I am telling you it is just the best.

Sliding, swinging and eating rocks!

We had a few minutes before Mae's gymnastics class today and decided to stop by the park and saw that Aunt Amy was home and invited Laren and Matt to join us in our little outing to the park ....Oh My!!! They had lots of fun. Laren was a little scared of the slide but loved it after she went down the first time, of course Mae went straight down and little man was right there with both of them Aunt Amy had to slide with him since it was the big slide and she was already up at the top helping Laren...I was the catcher and picture taker. Anyway it was fun and sweaty.
