Thanksgiving 2011

We had a fun day at Memama's celebrating Pat's 40th birthday and Thanksgiving. Then completed our day at Mom's with all my family

Halloween 2011

As normal we started camping at Tannehill the last weekend of August. We love Halloween so much. However, this Halloween camping trip really stunk, Daddy had a stroke the day after we moved the camper down to Tannehill. It was heart breaking to watch him go back through this again but yet thankful he made it through it. God is so wonderful and I am very thankful that he allowed us more time with him. Anyway, Daddy got out of the hospital of Halloween and he got to come down to the camper to enjoy the Halloween events. He also got to make Alex's 5th birthday party.. you can see pics of this in another post. WE of course didn't win the decoration contest.. however, they did use pictures of our decorations on their website and te hother ones didn't get published. Ha Ha! Oh well here are some of the pics.

Field trip to the Pumbkin Patch

This was Alex's first field trip of the year. He got to experience his first ride on a school bus. He loved running around at the pumpkin patch. They took a hay ride out to pick out their pumpkin, then rode a kiddy train, petted some animals, then had a sack picnic lunch and played on the jumpies. Then headed home.

First Day of School 2011 (3rd grade and K4)

Maddie is growing up so fast... it seems like just yesterday I was walking her down these school halls to K5 class now I am walking her in school to start 3rd grade. She has Ms. Kim Decker as her teacher... this should be a great year for her. Ms. Decker is suppose to be the best teacher. Alex was tested this summer and tested high enough to be excepted as a peer in the schools k4 program. This program has two class room that consist of 12 kids per class and half of each class are normal/higher peers and the other half are special need kids. They have created this program to help ease the special needs kids into the schools easier. Praying that Alex is the leader he needs to be to these kids. He will be in Ms. Ginny Pearson's room. She is supose to be excellent as well. So as parent's Luke and I should have no problems with the teachers. As my babies left the house this morning they both were holding hands walking down the front steps and one of them said Mama we would be complete if Angel was holding our hand too... so they both stopped and took my breath away with their big hearts and blew a kiss to Angel in heaven.. God has given Luke and I tooo beautiful hearted children. How I love them.

Lake Fun 2011

Fishing, and swimming are such a big part of our summers... we just loving doing these

Memama giving Alex a gun of Dedaddy's
